About

I’m a freelance photographer, passionate about photography and rock ’n’ roll. Throughout this site you’ll find everything I love to shoot — concerts, festivals, cars, skateboarding — but my focus today is street and travel photography.

That passion runs deep. My father was a photographer in his youth, and he always told me stories about what it was like to photograph Brazil decades ago — he’s the one who sparked my interest in photography, long before I ever held my first camera.

I properly started in 2018, right after my first trip to Europe. I bought an entry-level Sony and began shooting as a hobby, photographing small rock and heavy metal shows and bands, and everything else I came across along the way.

In 2022 I moved to Ireland, where I lived for two years, and that’s where I found my black-and-white style — inspired by my father (in memoriam) and by the great Sebastião Salgado, along with other black-and-white street photographers. My time in Europe also gave me the chance to travel and photograph a number of countries and cities across the continent.

After Europe came a few months in Canada and some weeks in the United States, photographing cities that are well-trodden ground for street photographers.

Today, back in Brazil, I still carry my camera everywhere, and I devote part of my time to personal projects that turn these photographs into prints, framed pieces, and other physical forms of art.
